I dropped by thier Barrington office today to inquire and hopfully receive some information in reference to company ID cards. When the door opened I was approached by a lady with a aggressive attitude and dismissed me in a jester as if I wasn't welcomed thier. Now I dont write this lightly as I hold the comminoarines office in high regard.. I was hoping to upgrade my company ID program and thought the commisonares office would be a good resource but the reception spoke volumes as to the lack of integrity at this office. I would expect this office to have a warm reception and a professional enviroment but I was wrong. Rude isn't enough to explain her attitude. She didn't ask my name, if I hade an appointment just simply tried to dismiss asap. I explained I was inquiring about thier ID service and she said, " we don't offer those servives," which was an obvious lie. See, as a CS officer in my community, 14 year canadian armed forces vertern, a father and business owner I was taken back by her unprofessional approach, even my 14 year old daughter asked me "what's wrong is her". Then I got to thinking. I was not in my uniform, I was wearing ball hat, cowboy boots and jeans and maybe didn't fit the prosona she expected in her office but she could not been further from the truth. I would usually follow this up another way but I thought I would leave this right here and not waste any more time on it and just find another provider.

Absolute hot mess to deal with these people. They submitted an incomplete application on my behalf and refused to resubmit the application with complete information. When I called for help I was hung up on and then I emailed and was told a supervisor would contact me. It's been nearly 2 months and not a word from them. I would not use this service ever again. They do not take accountability for their work, have a terrible demeanor, and are completely unprofessional .

Commissionaire's Halifax was super helpful in getting the fingerprints done. Even though they had a technical glitch, they kept reassuring me that they are doing everything possible to resolve the issue and finally completed the process. The front desk and the ID service technician were very nice.

Make sure you get a confirmation email. The ID service won't pick up the phone so if you leave a voicemail they will call back from a masked number and if you book the appointment over the phone that might not be even logged in their system. I did that with Melissa Taylor (ID service technician) and when I went there she was not even present in the office neither the appointment was logged. There was no proof with me to show that the conversation even happened with her because the number was masked when she called me . So make sure you get a confirmation email. The people at the front office are absolute craps. No words to describe them in a better way.

We went there to get some documents notarise. And it was a smooth process and free of charge also. Whereas other places charges for one document upto $50. I would recommend this place for getting documents notarise.

I am completely dissatisfied with the manner in which me and my son were spoken to at the front desk. We felt like we were being reprimanded . The gentleman and the other lady that was in office that took our fingerprints were very pleasant and their kindness greatly appreciated. Please remember to treat people the way you would like to be treated.

Quick professional service.

I got my pictures clicked for US Visa just 2 days ago and it was rejected today (june 27) during the interview process for inappropriate face to picture ratio and being blurry. Fortunately, I had picture clicked at Staples to be on a safer side and that saved me. $28 for two pictures here and all gone to waste. Not happy.

Please don't get your passport photos clicked there. They are NOT AT ALL PROFESSIONAL. My husband's and son's photos got rejected at the passport office (it was quite evident to us as the colours were changed but staff at commissionaires convinced us that it will be good) and we have to pay additionally at the passport office to get a new picture clicked. When we went to commissionaires with our passport as a proof , the staff denied any responsibility. Totally unprofessional behaviour.

Front desk woman was absolutely incredible and extremely hilarious. She made the process such a breeze and genuinely enjoyable. The office left a bit to be desired but still very clean and tidy, just dated and clunky

People come late to work, people are not doing their jobs. No one is held accountable. Jobs are never posted and just given to favourites as well as shifts bid on given to favorites.Always hiring but never enough shifts for everyone. No one in management can answer a straight question.
Management doesn’t care. Just lazy and riding out their time.I would not recommend working for them unless you only want a day or none in a two week period.
