I don’t often leave reviews, but this one is so deserved. I recently had to visit the Commissionaires office in Cold Lake to deal with paperwork following the loss of my dad. It was one of the hardest days I’ve had in a long time, and by the time I walked through their doors, I felt completely overwhelmed. The staff didn’t just do their jobs.. they noticed. They cared. They showed me more compassion, patience, and kindness than I could have imagined. They went above and beyond to help a complete stranger through something that felt impossible. They never rushed me, never made me feel like a burden, and somehow managed to make me feel like family during one of the most difficult moments of my life. They were also incredible with my children, patiently juggling all of us while helping me navigate everything I needed to do. Their kindness is something I will never forget. Sometimes it’s the smallest acts of humanity that leave the biggest impact, and these wonderful people reminded me of that. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me stand when I didn’t think I could. If you’re looking for a place where you’re treated with genuine compassion, respect, and care not just another number this is it. I’ll be grateful for your kindness for the rest of my life.
