I seriously doubt whether this place is meant to receive clients and handle business properly. The staff member I dealt with was a middle-aged bald man. A young person had come in, and he scolded him just because he was two minutes late. Even when that young man explained that he had arrived before 1 p.m. but found the door locked, the staff kept nagging him persistently.
After that person left, I asked if I could make a reservation online since I had come at the wrong time. He rudely said, “Can’t you see I’m working on the computer?” in a very unpleasant way. I didn’t want to stay there any longer, so I just walked out. A person like that should really be resting at home instead of working in a customer-facing role.

Jacques is it true professional walked me through all that was needed to be done and a great explanation of the time and how it’s received. I really didn’t have to do that much at all except to provide fingerprints
And then I asked him for advice of which he took time out of his busy day and supplied me with good information on how to proceed with my needs. Thank you so much, Jacques Just a great service and very quick as well

The experience I had here was extremely frustrating and entirely preventable. The agent I will be addressing here is the middle-aged bald man. I wish I could have asked for his name, but the time I had spent in his presence was so unpleasant that I just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
I was about three (3) minutes late for my appointment due to traffic delays (which I was very apologetic about as I know it can be annoying to fall behind appointment schedules from the employees perspective). However, the agent spent a solid chunk of time BERATING me. Even with an explanation for why I was late, he did not stop.
"How am I supposed to complete your fingerprinting if I don't have the proper time? Do you even know how long it takes to complete this process? It's not my problem that traffic was bad." and other variations of these exact lines, delivered with such a tone of annoyance and disgust that I wondered if I had accidentally insulted his entire bloodline.
Mind you, I was the only person in that office who was there to get my fingerprints at that time. I could have understood if he had a waiting room full of people and if my three minute delay would cause issues with other clients schedules, but IT WAS JUST ME.
Once he had finished lecturing me about how my three minute delay had inconvenienced him greatly, he took my ID and began the process.
I will give credit where credit is due. The process itself was easy and quick. He gave clear instructions for how to take the fingerprints and explained what the documentation was and the purposes it served. I appreciated that.
For a moment, I was willing to let his initial outburst slide. However, he wanted to finish off with a snide comment: "Just a tip for the future, employers HATE when their employees are late. They'll even take back a job offer. You should know that."
I think he was under the impression that he was being helpful or providing me with advice. But given his attitude about the whole thing, I really doubt he was telling me this with good intentions.
I really don't want to be THAT person who nitpicks an employees actions, but man, this entire interaction was so undignified and stress-filled for no reason. Everything the employee said could have been delivered better, but he wanted to mean and combative. I really wanted to empathize with him because customer-facing jobs can be stressful, but he really made it a point to be disrespectful to me.
Commissionnaires Scarborough - please train your employees better. This agent had no business speaking to me that way over a three minute delay.
To all others - If you care about being spoken to with even a semblance of respect, please choose another location to receive fingerprinting services.

I just want to let you know guys this person working there unrespectable and I was half appointment sometime they say no you don't have appointment I make appointment again for same time same day they closed the door he didn't open I just want to supervisor see my message you don't have to hire this kind people because they shut down the business I don't want to leave it bad review but he make me to do that anyway sorry to leave it bad review but I have to do because I can't believe it

My fingerprints were done fast and it was such a pleasure dealing with the agent very efficient and welcoming and made me feel safe and comfortable. My appointment was right on time and no waiting around. Just a wonderful service overall.

I went for fingerprinting at this location and the commissionaire on site for my appointment was extremely rude and aggressive. I think he must have found it offensive that I knocked on the door since it was locked. There were several notes on the door which had an aggressive undertone to them as well. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time knocked on the door because it was locked and there was no answer so I waited another 20-30 seconds and knocked again. After the second knock the door was answered right away. The commissionaire was rude and demeaning when he opened the door reacting in a way where it seemed I committed some sort of crime by knocking on the door. He seemed very upset by that fact that i knocked on the door. Very poor professionalism on his part. I would avoid going to this location for fingerprinting if you like being treated with any semblance of respect.

I was reading the old reviews for this location. They even replied that they will look into the issues but they didn’t. I encountered the same old guy. He is very rude to customers. Needs to address this issue. I went to another location 1280 finch av west. Their service is top notch.

The staff member at Commissionaires Scarborough who took my fingerprints registered a wrong address for me. The only way to rectify it is to book another fingerprinting which will cost more money and time. There’s no direct communication with them because their calls are directed to the headquarters. It’s a huge inconvenience for me and I am highly disappointed. 👎👎👎
