I just walked in and I got a chance to get my fingerprints done and I didn’t have to wait long at all.

I'm going to be honest and truthful about my experience with commissionaires.i was very interested in wanting to work with commissionaires and so many of my close peers recommended me to work for commissionaires.but time and time again they constantly either ghost my application or just simply stating that working at commissionaires requires you to have experience which they never seem to mention in any of their job posting. I even sometimes try to call and try to ask what was going on.It all came to a head recently when commissionaires did their job fair and the lady that interviewed me was so nice and kind but told me that I was qualified to work for commissionaires and that it was not up to her to make that decision.overall I would honestly say that with the current job market happing now and how it's probably not going to get better anytime soon i would honestly wish anyone good luck .i wish I had a better experience with commissionaires but sadly with the way current job market is going now I don't think qualified candidates will get a chance to work for commissionaires or any other security guard companie because it's competive.

I visited the HQ of your office here in Ottawa today. I was attended by Rocio V who processed my application for the background check within minutes! She is so great, very friendly, very professional, with a focus to help as fast as possible. She is great, she makes Commissionaires great!

Commissionaires security is the absolute worst security company that I have worked for, I was hired as a full timer back in September of 2024 but then they said in order to get full time I need secret level 2 clearances in which I had no problem waiting for but I needed to work so they gave us a dispatch number to pick up shifts at different places until we get our secret level II security, I would call them anywhere from 3-5 times a day in order to pick up shift but they would never have availability because they had too many people on the spare list to call, at times I would have to call a week in advance and even that doesn’t work most of the times.
It’s been over 8 months I still haven’t received my secret level 2, hired as a full timer haven’t received 1 week that was full time hours from this company.
Commissionaires does not care about you or value you as an employee very poor management and staff.
Don’t get scammed into working for them, worst job I’ve ever had.
