Security personnel at the Douglas Jung Building is extremely volatile and aggressive. There are no signs on the door to say that dogs are not allowed. I was picking up a pre-order within the building today. Security man got in my face, posturing aggressively and was screaming at me to leave, refused to acknowledge my service animal documentation and refused to give his name. Left me quite shaken. This person is clearly unhinged and needs behavioral training.

Stupid driver of this vehicle told me to not “take pictures on the platform” or of the entrance to the WCE Port Coquitlam. I was only outside of the entrance just wondering how they close the WCE Gate. I only take pictures of Buses like every other transit photographer does. It doesn’t say anywhere that I can’t photos. There’s no one here and I’m not taking photos of anyone. Kinda hope this guy gets fired for making up rules that I’ve never seen before.

Walked in on Mar. 5, 2025. Despite asking my name numerous times, (also taking ugly photos) still got my name wrong on my official RCMP criminal record check document. Thanks for wasting my time despite spending 88 dollars on a document check.

An efficiently run place on the sixth floor. I was in and out quite quickly with little wait. They have a cute little waiting area in front of the elevators.
Andrea has a calm, pleasant demeanor and offers all the information you need to get what you're looking for. Thank you for your help today!

Their online registration was standard and the appointment itself was fine, but their criminal record check application contained an inexcusable error. Despite my address appearing clearly on my driver’s license, they did not enter it correctly in their submission to the RCMP, which made my criminal record check undeliverable to me in return. Even worse, when I was forced to get my fingerprints taken a second time as a result, they told me that their first mistake was due to an issue with their system and not just their own human error. Their mistake led to highly damaging set backs and delays for me and I would not recommend their service to anyone.

I highly recommend this office for RCMP fingerprinting, especially for U.S. immigration purposes. The Commissioner’s office on 595 Howe Street, Downtown Vancouver provides a professional environment with well-trained staff, making the experience smooth and efficient. The three ladies there handled our fingerprinting quickly and effectively, completing the process for all three of us in under 30 minutes. Great job overall, and we expect to receive the results in about five weeks!

I do not enjoy writing bad reviews, so I will endeavor to write a constructive one in the hope that this agency will serve the next clients better and most importantly establish clear expectations.
To give some context, I had my fingerprints taken at this agency and weeks later IRCC contacted me to inform me that they had not yet received my fingerprints and requested me to resend them as soon as possible.
I called this office and the representative put me to task to inform her the race/nationality of the agent that took my fingerprints! She was like, was she Jamaican? How I'm I supposed to know! I refused to answer this because it made me uncomfortable - there's no reason why I should assume that someone is Jamaican because of their race/accent, unless that person explicitly tells me. Then she was like, did she have short hair? Yet another uncomfortable question, to which I said I don't remember. Then she was like was she Chinese? How should I know! Why should I assume that if someone is of Asian descent, that person is Chinese! When I go to an establishment, I'm not focused on someone's nationality, race, hair, gender, etc. I look at an individual that woke up in the morning to render a service to the community. There's something wrong with a workplace that tags the workers by their race/nationality. Training would be helpful.
So after explaining my problem, she promised to look into it and call me back. Well, she didn't and when I got home a wrote an email explaining my problem again.
Today, I received a response, if I may paraphrase, saying that: we took your fingerprints and the rest is your problem. I was advised to contact RCMP - Ottawa and as anticipated, I couldn't get the form that IRCC is requesting. So now I'm in a catch 22 scenario: IRCC is asking me to send the form, Commissionaires BC follow up on my case/help me get it & RCMP Ottawa can't give it to me!
I think it would have been helpful to know beforehand that clients are on their own & in that case, I would have instead gone to a local RCMP office and handled the entire process myself. That way, I would 1) be certain that my fingerprints were submitted & 2) I would easily follow-up each step. This office emailed me a scanned copy of my consent form as "evidence" that my fingerprints were submitted. How is this evidence?
I've booked an appointment with a local RCMP office & I'm doing the process again, because frankly I do not trust that my fingerprints were successfully submitted. I was told that it takes 2-3 weeks for RCMP - Ottawa communicate to IRCC, 3 weeks have already passed. I will update you on how it goes with the local RCMP.
Commissionaires BC emailed me back after I told them that they were not being helpful and I gotta say, I found the tone of their email quite rude! To be fair, Bill messaged me later

I went there for taking my finger prints and screening check. Everything went smoothly and staff were nice. I arrived earlier than scheduled, they offered me earlier time, preventing me from waiting too much.
